Liquid Gold: Custom Breast Milk Bars

Breast milk is often called "liquid gold" for its incredible healing and nourishing properties. At A Good Bar of Soap, we help you transform your surplus milk into a gentle, long-lasting soap that is safe for the most sensitive skin—from newborns to adults.

The Benefits of Breast Milk Soap

Breast milk is packed with natural fats, proteins, and sugars that make it a powerhouse ingredient in cold-process soapmaking:

Extraordinarily Gentle: The natural sugars in breast milk create a creamy, silky lather that cleanses without stripping delicate skin.

Deeply Hydrating: The natural fats provide a "boost" to our already skin-loving vegan recipes, leaving skin feeling soft and supple.

How the Process Works

Ordering a custom batch is a simple, secure process. We treat your milk with the utmost care and hygiene.

1. Reserve Your Batch: Purchase the "Custom Breast Milk Batch" through our shop.

2. Dropping off Your Milk: You will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to drop off 5-10 Ounces of milk. (Note: The milk does not need to be "fresh" for soapmaking; expired milk that is no longer suitable for feeding is perfect!)

3. The Crafting: We use the cold-process method, replacing the water in our recipe with your milk. We keep your batch strictly separated in its own dedicated mold.

4. The Cure: Like all our fine soaps, your custom batch will cure for 6 weeks to ensure a hard, gentle bar.

5. Delivery: Once cured, we hand-deliver your 10–12 custom bars back to you, beautifully labeled and ready for use.

Our Safety & Hygiene Promise

We understand how precious your milk is.

Dedicated Equipment: We use sanitized, dedicated equipment for custom orders.

Zero Waste: We return every possible ounce of soap from your batch to you.

Fragrance-Free: We highly recommend keeping breast milk soap unscented to maintain its hypoallergenic qualities.
