Shipping Policy

At A Good Bar of Soap, we hand-package every order with care. Our goal is to get your artisan goods to your doorstep as quickly and sustainably as possible.

• Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.

• Sustainability: We use earth-friendly [e.g. compostable or recyclable] packaging materials.

• Summer Shipping (Body Butters): Our whipped body butters are made with natural oils that can soften or melt in high heat during transit. If your butter arrives melted, simply place it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to firm up. The volume may look slightly different, but the quality remains the same.

• Tracking: Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Refund & Return Policy

Due to the personal nature of our products, we have strict hygiene protocols:

• Returns: For safety and sanitary reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on soap bars, lip balms, body butters, or bath bombs.

• Damages and Issues: Please inspect your order upon reception. If an item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us at help@agoodbarofsoap.com within 48 hours so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

• Cancellations: If you need to cancel an order, please email us within 12 hours of purchase. Once an order has been processed for shipping, it can no longer be canceled.

Ingredient & Safety Disclaimer

We take pride in our vegan, handcrafted process, but please keep the following in mind:

• Handmade Variance: Every bar is hand-cut and poured. Please allow for slight variations in color, design, and weight between the product photos and the bar you receive.

• Allergy Warning: All ingredients are listed on the product pages. Our products are made in a facility that handles nut oils (such as Sweet Almond Oil and Shea Butter). If you have sensitive skin, we strongly recommend performing a patch test on a small area of skin before full use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

• Usage: Our products are for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and do not ingest (even if the product smells delicious!).

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us.  A Good Bar of Soap only collects the information necessary to process your order (name, shipping address, and email).

• We do not sell your data to third parties.

• Payment information is encrypted and processed securely through [Shopify Payments/PayPal/etc.].

• You will only receive marketing emails if you explicitly "opt-in" at checkout or via our newsletter sign-up.

Vegan Commitment

We believe in "a good bar of soap" being good for you and the animals.

• 100% Plant-Based: We never use lard, tallow, beeswax, or honey.
